the scene in the Simpsosn where Moe is at the bachelor auction and is stared at with disgust by all the women until he walks into the reject pile. there are three Moes labeled Auston Matthews, Brady Tkachuk and Connor Hellebuyck. The disgusted women are labeled the People of Canada

For the record, as of 18 months ago, Zack lives in Canada (I’m his wife, and Canadian)

I know Auston went to the WH, but is he not at the SOTU? Just wondering. I don’t think it makes much of a difference.

I’m drinking a maple flavo(u)red beer at 9 AM while my wife and our friends boo the Tkachuk brothers on TV, think I’m getting the full cultural experience here

I can’t agree that it was anything other than very embarrassing!

My thoughts exactly

Oh, totally. But saying “The Post has X issues” is very different from “The Media does X.” It’s usually not true and also it’s way too broad a brush.

It is the top story basically everywhere. Tons of journalists are on the ground in Minnesota, communicating to the public what is happening there.

A year ago someone told me that they don’t criticize Trump in the NYT, and again, that’s absolutely false.

As someone who is married to someone in the mainstream media, I’m always so baffled about how people talk about the media. There’s this perception that they’re all sitting around doing their best to uphold the status quo and are refusing to cover things that people deeply care about. It’s so false.

The toxic culture behind the right’s civil war A Heritage insider alleging “openly misogynistic and racist” conduct shines a light on the right’s inner workings.

Heritage, for its part, was so upset about this reporting that it threatened to sue Vox to try and stop publication. But we are confident in our source and our reporting.

Here's a gift link to the piece that Heritage tried to kill www.vox.com/on-the-right...

Hoping that buying the Leafs Lululemon apparel that dropped this morning will help me to feel better about the Blue Jays

@janecoaston.bsky.social When he started talking about David Hume I cut him off and told him it was boring. He got mad.

I can understand why he wouldn’t love the way that fans have treated him in Toronto. What I’ve mostly been reflecting on is the expectation that he waive his NTC in March and go to Carolina so we don’t get nothing when he leaves. That specifically isn’t reasonable IMO.

Sure— he is absolutely focused on what is best for himself, and that is to the detriment of the leafs. But it seems standard for a worker to focus on what is best for them with their job. Just my opinion on it

People on every side are being insane about him! It’s wild
