Renewables are confusingly named but it is renewable thermal energy (ie biomass). Has nothing to do with renewable electrical energy which is included in electricity. Because the point of the chart is to show how energy is used not how it is created.

So your contention is that measuring whether people are using wood or electricity to heat their homes has no use?

So if your power company sent you a bag of coal instead of electricity it would run your hair dryer?

It's not a chart of fossil fuel use it's a chart of energy demand.
