For anyone wanting a deep-dive into the regulation of indoor air quality in Australia, the recent NSW Parliament enquiry into Clean Indoor Air offers a treasure-trove of great information about the present sorry situation and possible ways forward. My commentary: petervogel.legal/rubyprincess...

I have posted my summary of the many weaknesses and a tiny glimmer of hope here: petervogel.legal/rubyprincess...
Sorry to resort to relying here but I hope someone can tell me how to contact Zeteo? I have subscribed but I cannot work out how to actually access the content! A support or help link or email would be great!
Can't wait for this new series!
Ironic bug in the captions. Yes, I did turn it off and on again.
Plum is an amazingly dedicated and effective advocate working to create a world where everyone - especially people with chronic illnesses and other risk factors - can breathe safely indoors, ensuring healthy and inclusive environments for all. Please support this! globalcall.saferairproject.com
I'm looking for some estimate of how many days of lost productivity or cost or some other metric of impact on RACFs due to staff contracting respiratory illness when there's an outbreak at the facility. Any suggestions for reasonably reliable Australian data?
Great information, for doctors, teachers and the general public. youtu.be/GPUTTjjdT4A?...
BIG NEWS! SafeWork Australia has just published a Model Code of Practice for health facilities.
Note on page 101 it says facilities MUST (not optional) ensure there is enough ventilation to avoid WHS risks including airborne pathogens.

Why no C19 vax for children in Australia? Last year, ACIP reported 58 deaths in infants ages less than a year, 44 deaths in children ages 1-4 years and 81 deaths in children ages 5-19 years. 50% of children hospitalised with COVID had no underlying health conditions.

I thought I'd check the Australian Immunisation Handbook to see why children can;t get a COVID vaccine. immunisationhandbook.health.gov.au/recommendati... A typo shows failed effort to explain the change. Hyperlinks for "risk outweighs benefit" go nowhere. It's been like that since May 2.
How about a tariff on Teslas to stop the ketamine emergency?
www.youtube.com/watch?v=c4Y_... Gates gives me hope. I love his comment on Musk: "The picture of the world's richest man being involved in the death of the world's poorest is not a pretty one"
journals.plos.org/plosone/arti... Interesting study of a new mask that uses UVC to kill 99.9% of pathogens rather than fine filters. Needs some further refinement but the main points are that the UVC really works and they are much more comfortable than N95s.
Where can I find some good information about long and short term health impact of bushfire smoke?
While they do suggest air purifiers or P2 masks, they say masks are not suitable for children. There are some air quality monitoring stations but none in the Mountains where the burning is taking place www.airquality.nsw.gov.au/air-quality-... /3
Hazard reduction burns near our home are causing lots of smoke. NSW Health says "Follow your doctor’s advice about how to stay safe if you are more sensitive to smoke." They give the impression that most people don't need to worry. www.health.nsw.gov.au/environment/... /2
This is a ripper podcast: "Jay Bhattacharya, Covid contrarian and co-author of the Great Barrington Declaration, is now the Director of the NIH. The day before beginning his new job, he gave his first official interview to Bari Weiss on her podcast, Honestly."

I know there are several fresh air maps in varying states of use and support and a lot of thought and effort has gone into these. If you have any ideas to share or would like to be part of an open-source project to harmonise devices and maps, please email me freshairmap@airspothealth.com
For the past 2 years I have been involved in development of the AirSpot CO2 monitor airspothealth.com
AirSpot is now functioning well and we're moving to the next step of integration with indoor-air maps.

Will Trump start calling measles "the America virus"?
Australia is terribly vulnerable too. We rely on US weapons and it's going to get worse if the submarines ever happen. I can imagine Trump or his sequel saying give us your minerals or we stop supplying parts for your subs/fighters/aircraft carriers (if not turn them off).
Looks like it's not just flat, it's fried!
Trump may be immune to prosecution, but Musk isn't. I would encourage the huge number of people being damaged by Musk's actions to mount the biggest class action of all times.
