There are 2 kinds of elitism in the Harvard scandal: aristocrats (wealthy legacy) and meritocrats (perfection obsessed superachievers who may not be wealthy but are often middle class.) Ironically it is the latter who oppose Affirmative Action, which helps the most struggling.
