Had a wonderful time at the Nellie Stone Johnson Scholarship Dinner with fellow Union leaders from across the state. I am so proud of my Union and many others who continue to support one of our labor giants and the students who are our future!

Black women are three times more likely to die at childbirth than other women in this country. As your next representative, I will advocate for equitable and responsible maternal healthcare policies that will address such harm.

I am grateful to have the support of the feminist caucus as we work towards advancing key protections for women across this country! We need to pass the equal rights amendment!

Women contribute so much to our economy! Too many women, especially black women, have lost their jobs at the federal level. This leads to economic instability. We must protect strong union jobs, and promote job growth and development.

We had a great discussion about organizing black voters and how many feel left behind by our party. We must change that

We are energizing black voters across this country and I look forward to continuing the work.

There were a lot of important bills at the Minnesota Legu today in the public safety committee. I was able to attend the Minnesota House Public Safety Committee, the Minnesota Legislative Commission on Pensions and Retirement, and the Minnesota Senate Higher education committee.

I have had a great conversations in Community about top issues of constituents. So many people are feeling disenfranchised, unheard and feel as if their voices are being drowned out by the few that don’t listen to others. I will be a representative that listens to everyone, even if we don’t agree.
