I had so much fun leading a space art workshop at Redditch Library on Saturday! It was part of Redditch Astronomical Society's family day. I did a Q&A on illustrating An Unlikely Astronaut, and scifi author Chris Beckett also did a really interesting talk. Here are some of my favourite pics πβ¨

Here are some of my better images of "Marsrise" -- right after the end of the #MarsOccultation.
Happy to say I found capture settings that simultaneously worked for both Mars and Moon. No "cheating" and stacking them separately and then copy/pasting.

In π΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ Ώ we've got 2 lovely total lunar eclipses (14 Mar & 7 Sept) and a 40% partial solar eclipse (29 Mar).
I'm also super excited about Saturn temporarily losing it's rings in March π€
