Elon Musk and Peter Thiel routinely kick their critics off the X platform. Which is an excellent reason not to use it. Ever.

A reminder that the MAGA regime is comprised of Nazis and white supremacists, so I can’t say that I’m at all surprised that they have filed frivolous bullshit criminal charges against the Southern Poverty Law Center who is a 55 year old civil rights group known for going after the Klu Klux Klan.

Indeed. Complaints about redistricting are invalid. Republicans did it everywhere and invalidated a Constitutional Amendment so they could do it on explicitly racial lines.

There are two choices: use the same levers of power as Republicans do, or let them win. There is no "principled" opposition.

It’s important to understand that Republicans have worked diligently over the last 3 or 4 decades to heavily tilt the electoral playing field in their favour—it’s one of the *only* reasons they are actually still able to compete in national elections.

You can’t ā€œhigh roadā€ your way out of fascism.

A reminder while Republicans bitch about Dems finishing the redistricting fight they started: they have full control of gov’t— they can pass a law banning gerrymandering any time they want. They won’t. Republicans aren’t mad gerrymandering exists; they’re mad that they’re not the only ones using it.

3/ But not ALL MEN!!! Exactly. But the ones who are in the Not Me camp have an obligation...yes, I said OBLIGATION...to police their bros.

Guys, do you have a wide circle of male buds? Work the numbers. Somebody in that group has sexually assaulted someone.

Look at this chart.

Tax cuts for the rich are a policy choice. Cutting the social safety net in exchange for them is a policy choice.

States like New York have an opportunity to help undo this trickle down nonsense by raising taxes on the rich (who will still be rich).

I hope Gov. Hochul does.

The only purpose of this stunt is to scam readers. That's it. If execs aren't trying to fool readers into thinking stories written by the Error Robot came from real reporters, there would be no need for fake bylines.

The intent is, quite explicitly, fraud.

Yet another reason we must throw out all the "tools" in power that are enabling all this destruction of our country.

And all the "tools" protecting the pedophiles too. Release the EPSTEIN files!

This Isn't Trading. It's Theft from Your Retirement. Someone keeps making perfectly-timed bets right before the President speaks. The victims are your pension, your 401(k), and the country I took an oath to defend.

Fifteen minutes before the President announced he was pausing strikes on Iran, somebody moved $500 million in oil futures. Somebody knew. Somebody told them. Or somebody is them.

I was treated to a spectacular bit of gaslighting by Ghislaine Maxwell’s lawyer, David Markus, over this post. I have a zero-tolerance policy for both gaslighters and mansplainers—habits that frequently overlap—so I’m sharing some thoughts. Please spread the word. Thanks. youtube.com/shorts/uMb82...

The fact that he is openly a bigot and misogynist makes me think that behind closed doors, he's so much worse.

89 candles would have set off the sprinklers, so we settled for one — and one perfect slice of cake (with @bradtakei.bsky.social on ice cream duty). Thank you to every friend, fan, and fellow traveler who has made these 89 years such a joyous voyage.

Even worse, his pseudo-engagement antagonizes the other government and kills off the possibility of real diplomacy later. When the Hanoi summit fell apart, it convinced Kim that negotiating with the U.S. was pointless. There have been no talks since then.

Warren: "Why try to end independence of the Fed? Bc Trump's economic failures are causing him political problems, he wants the Fed to artificially juice the economy Having a sock puppet in charge of the Fed would also give the president access to the Fed's powerful authorities to enrich himself"

Thank God. But Trump did, and encouraged everyone else to take it, and then never apologize i, even when it became clear that the VAX had killed hundreds of thousands of people around the world, and it's never really been studied in this country, but we can extrapolate and assume it killed, I mean, it killed people I know.
Me too.

It's all about what benefits him. He hasn't changed one iota.

Men, We Need to Talk About "Rape Academy" This isn’t about women. This is about us. And it’s long past time we had this conversation

The number of angry messages I got from insecure men on my article demanding men be accountable for rape culture & 'Rape Academy' reminds me to share my article repeatedly.

Men: Stop being insecure. Stop being pathetic. Start holding rapists accountable.
