I have family in town for the holiday and I left them unattended to celebrate my friends birthday tonight. Got home at 12:30AM and rolled over to go to bed only to be met face to face with this beaut. I’m not even mad they invaded my bedroom to leave this piece of fine art.
When you have to take company Christmas card photos and the requirement was brown or tan pants but the only pants you can find that meet that criteria are ✨pleather✨.
If anyone has a horse with chronically runny eyes (no squinting or obvious pain) and suspected narrow tear ducts let me know because I’m insane and will convince myself she’s going blind at the ripe age of 2. 🫡
I’ve got a really decent light start of Weezy this year. She’s off until spring now and we’ll start asking a little more of her next year.
She is having some issues with her eyes running again. Starting some meds tonight and if they don’t clear it up we’ll be going to the equine specialist.
They really are. My friends gelding is giant when you really get them side by side though😂. He’s 15.3 and Kai is barely 15 lol.
Super glad they are getting along. I was a bit worried that wouldn’t be the case.
Also I bought a new horse trailer last weekend. I feel a bit dumb buying a brand new trailer but my old one was starting to have a lot of issues I didn’t want to sink money into fixing and financing was better buying new (I did have a decent down payment). Only horse people get the excitement.🤣
Handsome boy Kai is at my friends house for the winter keeping her gelding company.
It has been a very bad horse loss year for my immediate circle and my friend was worried her gelding would get lonely this fall coming home to an empty pasture from the property we board at during the summer.
The ponies lately. I need to stop disappearing from this app. 😂

Also yesterday was a nice day so I decided it would be a good day for Weezy to have her first ride out in the big arena and she was perfect. 🥹

I’ve had him for two weeks now! His leg is wrapped because he was home for a matter of hours before he rolled into a gate and gave himself a boo-boo. Fingers crossed he got that out of his system. 🙈
The new man in town! Kai is a solid bred registered paint gelding. He’s 7 years old and a super cute mover. His government name is Thanks for Kissin Me and he is by Kissin the Girls.
This is my new guy I’m excited to introduce you all to in another post.
Ultimately I think she is much happier in her new home and I’m happy to not have to dread riding. I struggled with weather or not to buy another horse or just wait for Weezy to mature. I kept an eye on Dream Horse and found what I am hoping is the perfect fit.
Things have been crazy since I last posted here. Weezy has a few rides on her but we are taking it slow.
I decided Roxy (my grulla mare) was just not happy with me. We were butting heads and having a lot of very bad rides so I decided to sell her which was a very hard decision.

Yesterday was Weezys first time ever being saddled. Tonight we kept up the great work. She didn’t even bat an eye! Love this sweet filly.
Nope just regular fetlock boots. Her scar tissue on the inside of the left one is still super tender but I’m trying to avoid to big heavy sport boots.
