I only gave 5s to my top five faves. So a 4.5 is, essentially, a 5.

My 2019 joke
They stole this from me!
We movie nerds all got the purple category first today, right?
Season 2 of Push Nevada
Partiful is feeling out a paid membership and I want to make it very clear that I will never, ever pay for an app that has so far been free.
Debating going to Warped Tour again, but last time I booked a room way early. Trying now? Same hotel is now over 3x the price in 2025 (and roughly 3x as much as it is the weekend before). We love price gouging!
My 2019 letterboxd review of the thing
A 2026 tweet making the same joke
Some Twitter dork stole my 7 year old joke.
Shot after shot of the still living heroes who apparently aren't in this one being Poochied off to their home planet to explain their absence.
It's amusing that one of my main issues with Rise is how no one reacted normally to the possessed mom. Like even after seeing her do insane shit they'd keep approaching her as if she was totally normal in their previous encounter. Now in Mummy theyre like "She's fine, let's bring her home!"
In Lee Cronin's Nightmare On Elm Street, a little girl is possessed by Freddy after snooping around in a dream. Her family members keep acting like she's just got a cold or something. It's three hours long.
A short film about Cropsy lying in that canoe for hours, waiting for victims to come across him.
My favorite thing in THE BURNING is that Cropsy *immediately* looks to get laid after getting out of the hospital. Doesn't even grab a sandwich or a drink.
With the help of the Sandy Hook families, The Onion has reached a long-awaited deal to take over InfoWars.
We've enlisted the help of @timheidecker.bsky.social, who will be InfoWars' Creative Director.
Please stand by for more.
If FUNNY FARM was a hit I bet Chevy could have transitioned into more Hanks-y kind of roles. He's really good in it and there's barely any of his usual stuff.
The trick is, you got to clip them off way up high.
Another cult-like Tesla owner
"I would like to pay an additional 80 dollars a year to tout one of my car's features, because I am a very normal person."
Just saw Larry David do a Q&A where he correctly roasted bad audience questions (not that the moderator's own were much better). A+ experience.
(Marge is in hospital, Lisa is running things)
*Homer enters the kitchen in just his underwear*
"Dad where are your clothes?"
"I don't know..."
"Don't tell me mom *dresses you*?"
"I guess... or one of her friends."
I'll say it plainly: the @overlookfilmfest.bsky.social isn't just one of the best horror festivals in America — it might be the best.

Literally yesterday I talked on the phone w/Kane Hodder for 30 min for an article. That's the result of a childhood where my mom allowed me to watch what I wanted when I was shaping my interests. Long as you've done your job elsewhere, no reason to shield your kids from things they're excited about.
T: Will wants to get a game but it has like, cult stuff.
Me: Will, are you going to join a cult?
Will: No.
Me: Then go ahead and get the game.

(It's CULT OF THE LAMB, for the record.)
Guinea pig food
I ordered a little thing for a friend for her birthday and Amazon sent guinea pig food. But I figured if the little fella gets *my* order, no one more qualified to try it out.
It's the rare case of someone dying in a Tesla when it has nothing to do with the car exploding or self-driving itself off a cliff.
Scream 3 [2000] dir. Craven
My most popular letterboxd review.
On May 7th we will be paying tribute to our friend Jamie Blanks with a special screening of his debut URBAN LEGEND. Let's pack the joint and honor the man!
