She is proud of her physique, enjoying her height and exercising to maintain her strength. Often seen smiling, she doesn’t like to appear upset in front of others. She works hard to keep everyone happy and tries to keep up a positive appearance even if it’s a lie. When asked about her eyepatch she will try to change the subject to avoid explaining the injury. The only information she’ll give is that it happened when she was a teenager. DESIGN NOTES September 23rd is roughly the date of the “original” Katya drawing from a notebook in 2021. She didn’t even have the eyepatch at first, that came a few drawings later. Page 3: Katya showing her teeth "Sharp canines!" Color palette DESIGN NOTES: Katya started out based heavily on Haruko Haruahra from FLCL, to the point where I’ve had people point this out without me ever mentioning it. A lot of design elements for her also came from her origin as a recurring notebook doodle. I had to pick things that were easy or fun to draw in a small margin with ink. Her design has changed a lot over time, both by me learning how to draw and by learning what it is I like to draw.
