20 years ago I played what was essentially an album release show (my band’s album!) at the Soundlab in Mokena, IL with Arms of the Dangerous Anything and Auburndale (OH).
Dude, the time flies.
Them: “oh, and having him rap on your song was SO COOL!”
Me: “he’s got an album and EP’s, you should check him out!”

The kids usually like my music because it’s more uptempo and loud compared to everyone else that’s at open mic (it’s a lot of acoustic stuff-really well done, I might add), but a lot of the adults enjoyed my songs tonight. Even got a “that was awesome!”
The only problem with being here is it’s a lot of acoustic stuff and…well…I am not.
I kinda feel like I screw up the vibe.
Plan on playing Open Mic tonight with a guest via the magic of ✨pre-recorded vocals✨
