Community IT had me join this week's podcast to discuss managing risk when using AI. I discuss the types of things nonprofits do with AI, the associated risks, and strategies for mitigating that risk. It's about a 20 minute listen. communityit.com/podcast-mana...

I've been working a lot recently on developing policy governing AI usage for my nonprofit clients. I put together this presentation that outlines AI policy and guidance in a more relatable matter. techcafeteria.com?p=3649
Very affordable if you don't buy it.
That's some next level trolling!
Here's the CEO of my former employer, Earthjustice, giving frightening examples of what environmental orgs are facing under Trump's twisted regime. www.propublica.org/article/eart...
There was a lengthy answer to a question about this in the electoral-vote.com Saturday Q+A today. There are no golf trophies; it's just gold items from the White House collection. This picture contrasts Biden's much more elegant furnishings with Trump's "Fort Knox vomited all over the room" look.
Simple workaround - spell out all numbers in the bill. "Thirty-Five Thousand dollars", not "$35,000". Those are words, they're in the dictionary.
We did a mail-in survey and 100% of the respondents filled it out!
They already had my money, so it was a little less difficult for me (self-employed - I prepay taxes).
Pretty sure that Alexander is okay with either.
1. Mel Gibson
2. Peter Coyote
3. Aimee Mann
4. Isabella Rosselini
5. Patti Smith
prescient! I credit all of those guys for today's news that the Acme vs Roadrunner movie is finally going to be released.
My mom was born in 1929, too, in the Netherlands, and had a story that could have wound up like Anne Frank's, but they thankfully got out.
The AFL-CIO attributes it to Springsteen. Don;t you think they'd get it right?
God, I love that comic and I didn't think anybody else had ever heard of it. Also, Allison's "Steeple", about the nun who becomes best friends with a Satanist is a small British village. Some of the funniest stuff on earth.
He apologized for this, but I'm with you. Both VA senators seem to have really not gotten the memo. If you aren't actively antifa that makes you profa.
Trump is despicable, but self-deluded, a victim of his own diseased ego. He lies so much that he believes his lies and quadruples down on them. Vance is a different kind of smarmy. Every lie he says he lies about later, claiming that he didn't say it. No conviction.
WTF? I'm flying United on Monday and I have a Gmail address. Last time I loaded the app was pre-pandemic and they didn't have MFA.
My Harem? Procul
"Siri, this is my phone, not my cat's."
Tough question. Let's see, he stiff his contractors; he appeals and delays every other attempt to get him to comply with the law; pretending to be above the law has worked out for him so far. Whatever might he do in this case?
My spree? Polyphonic.
It looks like Goods United is reporting on both corporate and individual giving, while open secrets is just reporting individual giving, at least on the screen you posted.
Immigrants deported by the Trump admin: 37,660
Americans fired by the Trump admin: ~100,000
Trump is eliminating good jobs at triple the rate that immigrants are freeing up shitty ones. Tell your MAGA friends whose actually taking away American jobs.
One of the great annoyances of the Trump era is that it frequently makes us allies of people that we abhor.
I have a pre-Buffy, post-Buffy test for Sci-fi/horror/famtasy TV shows. Before Buffy, they were all monster of the week; post-Buffy, we have serialized plotting and big bads.
This one is intended for the Trump admin, not my friends here:
WaPo just toadied up to them by cancelling this Common Cause ad calling for Musk to be fired with no explanation, days after it had been accepted. I'm cancelling my sub.
Pretty sure from your comment about James Marsden that you're already watching it.
