Yeah, like I'm trying to fool myself into thinking that's what this place is, rather than "okay why do it if I feel like no one's watching?" In truth, there are already people on here with a huge following. At the same time, engagement is much higher, percentage wise. That part is nice!

Anyway, here's a reminder I exist, and have feelings, lol. I dunno. As I said, I'm not good at this! Also who the fuck cares, the world is burning! Aghghhh!

You always get scared of being forgotten, because you're not constantly reminding people you exist. Right now I've been working hard on an original graphic novel and it feels like I've been hiding.

I'm far from the first one to talk about this, but it's so hard to keep up with things. I feel like I'd be a bigger deal if I were more chatty. Certainly if I were more prolific, which I am not.

This might be an ADD thing, I dunno. Anyway, I guess this is me, expressing myself on social media. The subject: expressing myself on social media. Hah!

I just...I'm not a productive person. And when I talk to someone, I put them at the center of it all. To draw, I have to get in "the zone" and this means I have to make my life as boring as I can.

I have trouble following up with people when it's not in person. I just don't know how to be casual enough about it. I even have a hard time keeping up with personal friends...much less people on social media.

I have never been good at social media. Not sure if you've noticed, maybe it's more obvious to me. I don't post a lot. It feels like...too much. Like I only do things all the way or not at all, and if I do social media all the way, I'd never get anything else done.
