Tabletop Merchant has been around a while, but I just came across them recently. They are inviting, fun to talk with, and bring a ton of energy to the conversation. They’re worth checking out.
We had a very fun conversation. David and Alyssa are fantastic hosts!

You sound closed minded about this subject, and also uninformed about what is currently taking place. That’s a dangerous combination.
The story that you have of what’s going on is not current just last week, Ezra Klein released a podcast called “reckoning with Israel’s one state reality“. It’s worth listening to if you wanna catch up on what’s happening currently.
BTW, Ezra is Jewish, so he doesn’t have an axe to grind.
Is that good or bad?
Toxic masculinity.
Social anxiety…
Honestly, they are probably more similar than people who think.
You are my hero.
I hope you don’t fold under the pressure that will be increasingly applied by the rich, the media empires they own, and everyone else caught who gets confused by the arguments.
Thank you.
Excited that [cool board game thing I worked on] for [large company] will get announced tomorrow. The timelines are always so long that it's always a surprise to me and I always need to keep my mouth shut about it.
These are important questions for you think about because this is what’s happening right now.
This is not Iran. This is Israel.
Hezbollah does not have 800,000 members.
You keep bringing up Iran. Please stop. This post is about Israel’s actions, not Irans.
I have a few simple questions.
Is it ok for Israel to relocate 800,000 people in Lebanon right now?
Is it ok to destroy their homes?
Would it be ok to appropriate their land?
That’s not the goal of Israel.
For the last 50 years, Israel has controlled the electricity of Gaza, the water, whether they can do business with outside partners, and whether they can leave (they can’t).
Israel has relocated 7 million Palestinians over that time.
Let that sink in.
You think Iran is a problem. I agree.
It’s weird that’s your response to a post about Israel being a problem.
Do you think it’s problematic for Israel to target random civilians that have nothing to do with terrorism? To destroy their homes, take their land, and tell them not to come back?
It’s a double standard.
Very true.
What does that have to do with Israel’s treatment of people from Palestine and Lebanon? Is there a connection I’m missing?
The stumbling block to whose agenda? Israel and the US are stumbling blocks to a two state solution.
There are a lot of agendas and a lot of stumbling blocks.
Israel will block it.
Palestine has not been in control of its electricity, water, buying and selling goods, finance, or whether they can leave for the past 50+ years.
Don’t be fooled by their talking points.
Your world view is overly simple.
Israel is not democratic. Relocating 7 million Palestinians over 50 years to make sure Jews are an ethnic majority isn’t my understanding of democratic values.
It’s not clear whose ideology is doing more damage right now; Islamic or Jewish Nationalists. Probably the Zionists at this point because they have more military power.
🙂 It’s a real piece of art from the artist I’m hoping to work with. I put one of her art pieces into an AI and had it add a space station and some starships. Fingers crossed she has the time to work with us!
Me too! Thanks.
Thanks for the feedback.

These are rough draft sketches to help us work on a box cover for a sci-fi game about building out networks to explore the galaxy. We will not use AI in the final product. Please vote for your favorite art style.

It’s not an exact quote, but it’s fairly close.
Displacing 7 million Palestinians over 50 years is bad. I will never support that endeavor.
You missed the point. Targeting terrorists is one thing. Targeting civilians is horrific.
It’s certainly a war crime and will be spoken about poorly when history is studied in the future.
Israel says they are doing to Lebanon what they did to Gaza: “Destroying all of the civilian homes so that Hezbollah cannot use them.”
We’re living in a horrible time for this to be normalized. It’s hard to wrap my head around.
