Have a great run, Chris - it's the best day of the year in London and you'll have amazing support.

I find 'best regards' to be more common in US emails - you can't go wrong with the confusing 'Cheers', John.
I absolutely love London Marathon Day and hope everyone who wants to experience running it can - but is splitting it over two days diluting the best day of the year in such a great city?

Very sad news indeed, John. Alan was monumental in the field.
Great time, mate!!
I hate pivoting
There used to be a great cafe serving the best huevos rancheros just across the road from there.
Jeez, what a contrast - I haven't taken a UA flight to/from LHR in 12 months when they DON'T ask for volunteers to take other flights.
This letter truly sucked.
It can always be worse, John - we're assessing students every three weeks so the question requests come thick and fast.
Ah, the Friday afternoon rejection - how I've missed you.
Not.
Excited to release the Consensus Pituitary Atlas, which brings a shared framework to process, annotate, and analyze single-cell datasets in the mouse pituitary.

Great photos!
TCDCC is one of the best (and most fun) committees to serve on, for sure.
Have fun, Joy - sorry I missed you!
BREAKING: Scientists are staging a “science fair” in the lobby of a Congressional building to tell elected officials about the critical knowledge the US will lose because their research grants have been canceled.
Extremely grateful for catching up and spending time with my awesome visitor @cnpdr.bsky.social on beautiful Rottnest Island - another example of the wonders that the @endocrinesociety.bsky.social make possible!
Cool toys!!

Global Entry finally starts working again for me after 15 months…
I’ll see you at the gate, Felix!!
The coffee in the lounge at Zurich airport is einfach klasse - hoping the coffee in Copenhagen for #ESPE-ECE2025 is just as great.
The issue is connecting flights on non-United metal - fare difference applies to those :(. Just spent $500 to avoid EWR on Thursday.
United are definitely not giving me this option for the 8th - no change fee, but considerable fare difference.
Many congrats @denisebelsham.bsky.social !
No kidding - the taxiing to the gate is almost as long as the flight from DTW.
A seriously great group of #endocrinology researchers profiled here:

I am so fed up of politicians and media outlets telling us all that the NHS is less productive than pre-pandemic, while completely ignoring the enormous collective trauma endured by its workforce during the largest public health crisis in 75 years.…
The hypothalamus is a small structure deep inside the brain that is connected to a vast number of other brain regions and tirelessly interacts with them. It controls and modulates many basic bodily functions to ensure the survival of the organism under constantly changing circumstances.
The #hypothalamus plays a large role in coordinating the neuronal signals that are responsible for keeping the body in a stable state.
A special issue unpacked this brain region’s impact on physiological and behavioral homeostasis. scim.ag/41FRESU #BrainAwarenessWeek
No shame in this, John - get to a live Cure show if you can - they’re still phenomenal.
