The first writing jobs lost to AI were SEO slop. It'll be similar with music.
Functions where the human mind essentially just synthesised older output and tweaked it just enough to avoid plagiarism will be lost to the machines.
36 would be creepy older guy, but not yet "someone's dad is here and he's absolutely owning the dance floor"
He embodies the latter and somehow for 4 minutes, that is good
The adorable older-man-on-dance-floor Russ Abbott was actually just 36 here

Do they think people have literally no memory of past events at all?
Such a good point.
It's good to discover the opposite of clickbait
If you don't have an energy bill fix - I'd probably sort that out
I'm shocked
If Labour's main concern really was beating Reform, they'd introduce PR and the progressive majority could lock out the hard right forever.
A once in a generation chance to govern and they do it this badly
Getting really tired of "this is all a media concoction"...
Starmer has the lowest approval rating of any PM in history bar Truss. Senior ministers are openly and unsubtly positioning. His Chief of Staff, Director of Comms and Cab Sec have all resigned on the same day.
I mean come on...
I'm one of them - I just happen to expect more.
You're in a small club I suspect, but I hope that it serves you well
He looked desperate and there was no pull back to any kind of strategy, direction or vision that could move anyone on. He didn't answer any of what was levelled at him, it was basically "I'm rubbish but so is everyone else" and that only ever leads in one direction.
This is by a margin Starmer's worst PMQs and it needed to be his best. Abject. Awful.
If ever you have imposter syndrome, remember that an entire team of well-paid people prepared those lines for Keir Starmer #PMQs
In fairness they did get over 100% of the vote in the subsequent elections
Shame. If we had a serious adult figure like a military leader or director of prosecutions, nobody would be able to question whether they were right for the job
Still, managing to get the media talking about the thing that you want them to is a skill that so far has been completely lacking in no.10, so fair play to them.
It's amazing how often future leadership campaigns "accidentally" trail their campaign in this way
"Oh no I can't believe people are talking about me running in a leadership campaign..."

I'd put a bet on at least one Mayor calling on him to go in the next 24 hours
It's pretty well known that Starmer's office were pretty awful to Sarwar, as well as Burnham and some other regional leaders. There was a frustration when they had the temerity to disagree with Westminster, or to be popular in any way.
I'd be surprised if we don't see more of this
“Should we target Reform voters or ‘left’ voters?” - this is babytalk. Do your job!
I think the important lesson from history is that pretty soon there will be an act in reaction to ICE or something else, and that action will be used to justify a crackdown that takes the US on another giant step towards full fascism.
There's a playbook and they have been following it so far.
The only part of me doing dry January is my skin
