Luke's character development and plot depth is in fact on par with Rey's. But that's a conversation OT fans can't phathom. I'd say the sequel trilogy was decent minus where they took Luke Skywalker's character and not having the plot pre-planned and scripted. The sequel actors were A+! Great acting!
