No one really knows what AI is going to do let alone what AI is going to do to the economy and employment.
Posts by Tim Grady For Governor of Ohio
There does not exist an objective and right way to solving problems that can universally be reached by competent, honest politicians willing to compromise.
Everything has tradeoffs. Everything has winners and losers. Everything requires a subjective, moral judgement. We try.
These are the bold policy ideas you can expect from the Grady for Governor campaign!
And isn't it nice to see a political headline about policy instead of which candidate is badmouthing another?
Critics of closed primaries argue primary voters are more fringe and radical than the electorate as a whole and drive our partisanship. Not always the case!
Primaries can also be dominated by the moderate establishment.
As always, there's no perfect system or shortcuts. You have to win voters.
I love social media. Currently at people who want to ban data centers because of "pollution" telling me that "solar can't power ANYTHING outside of Arizona". Quite an environmentalism movement we have here.
What do you think the odds are that the people trying to legalize solar farms in Ohio are also rabidly anti-data center?
Education and research have a LOT of positive externalities.
We're losing the global technological arms race. We're losing the competition for top global talent. We're losing the race for discovery and invention. And once we lose all those things we lose capital, industry, and control over the future.
Politics is awash in cash because it costs Democrats and Republicans millions to persuade the marginal voter.
You don't NEED tons of money to have a big impact running for office. Democrats and Republicans do, but anyone outside that framework doesn't.
New voices punch above their weight.
You know how everyone is from Ohio? Wherever you go, there are Ohioans.
You probably don't realize what a tremendous asset that is to the Ohio Rustbelt Renaissance.
Golden ages tend to happen in places with deep network connections to the world.
Ohio can be so great.
All I'm seeing is candidates who should know better selling half truths and bad policy because they think it gets them votes and a news media that amplifies rather than fact checks because politics is a click based economy.
Democrats poll worse than Republicans, ICE, and AI. They are relying entirely on voter outrage at Trump to get back into office. Just like each party has done for 20 years.
We deserve better. We can have better. Break The Cycle. Vote Independent. Vote for a New Party.
I have this crazy idea that it should be equally convenient to drive or to take public transit, that you can get where you want to go wherever or however you live, and that these things can be complementary.
And as governor I'm going to make that Ohio's reality.
You have better choices than Vivek Ramaswamy vs Amy Acton. You have better choices than Democrat vs Republican.
Fight for Ohio's Future. Join our Campaign.
The Independent Grady for Governor of Ohio Campaign has just announced our Plan and Vision for Ohio. The most detailed and practical plan for a better, more affordable, more prosperous Ohio. Keep up.
Each party out of power just waits for the other to screw up, as they inevitably will. Ohio Dems hyping themselves up that because Trump is so bad they might actually win for once in 30 years should look at the polls showing Dem approval BELOW Republicans.
Fall for it again.
Declare your Independence Ohio! Let's fix our state.
If you have an Ohio ID you can register or update your voter registration online!
Doesn't matter to my INDEPENDENT campaign, but if you plan to vote in the May 5th primary the deadline to register is today.

Trust is the very foundation of a market economy. It's also the foundation of a functioning republic.
One thing about this campaign: a lot of people are going to be forced to learn about scaling laws, emergence, phase transitions, and tipping points.
We're bringing a whole new way of approaching policy to politics and it's going to leave everyone else in the dust.
The conventional wisdom is wrong. And the conventional wisdom is dominating. We seem to have lost the capacity for original thought, to question.
Even thought around the unconventional has become conventional! Everyone has the same rote ideas on new political parties and political reform.
Recently learned there are like 20 year olds charging thousands to basically just say "yep, you've got a pretty Republican district there" and I'm starting to wonder if I need to stop doing all this for free.
I'm the Liberty and Opportunity candidate.
My goal is that you, and all Ohioans, lead your best possible life. And that you have the freedom to be who you are and pursue what you want to be.
That, to me, encapsulates everything America represents.
If people want to see real change, real progress, real growth, real vision, real unity in this country; there's no real choice except to vote independent or for a NEW party.
That idea makes a lot of people uncomfortable but it's the clearest, most effective path and it's not even close.
It's a very pleasant night out

Over 2,000 square miles of farmland in Ohio is used to grow corn for ethanol. What do you think will happen when Electric Cars are widespread?
We need a plan for the cornpocalypse.
The good news: We have one!
Let us tax the negative externalities and subsidize the positive externalities and build the state capacity to know the difference.
