Message from GrinningHazard community discord I struggled with whether this message needs a CW, but I also think its incredibly important. So what I will say before proceeding is this statement from me is based on recent news; the 62 Million but is NOT about any specific information but an affirmation of community support I wish to vocalize. We have had discussions about keeping spaces safer and the work that requires. I’m going to keep my feelings as out of this as possible. That work continues and is important. I want you to feel safe in this space. I want you to feel heard and supported in this space. If ANYONE in this space is compromising that I want you to feel empowered to talk to me about it. I do not want to simply “endure” it for the sake of this community because while I cannot hold everyone in the world accountable I’ll be damned if I don't do it in my own space with you all. And if “I” am ever the source of your discomfort I want you to feel empowered to talk to me about it knowing that I want to listen and if I’ve done something wrong, correct it and improve. I know we joke a lot, and sometimes we get a little crass, but I still want to be mindful whenever possible. I will also be talking to my mods in the near future to see if any of them are also okay with being approached with concerns (But I don't want to just throw that sudden and potentially triggering responsibility on them without a conversation) My hope is all of this is stuff most of you already know and that I am mostly just affirming that commitment. But to our newer folks or maybe if someone was just unsure I want you to know I take this seriously and I want you to feel as truly safe in this place as I can realistically make it. Accountability; in all things.

This maybe isn't the perfect solution but I feel its necessary to vocalize to my community that I want them to feel empowered to speak up.

Open to suggestions (especially from femme shapes) on how and what actions I could take to do better.

These sporadic streams will NOT have the VODs saved on Youtube. They'll be on twitch until they get deleted, but that's it.

Because of this, I'm changing how I handle VODs to accommodate me being more flexible with what/when I stream.

Thursdays will continue to be the usual: single player games, where I do complete walkthroughs, and will be archived in Youtube.

Lastly, I'm going to be more lenient with myself.

This "Stream structure" has been in the back of my mind all this time, and as I got more accustomed to it, even when I kept saying that I was doing it for fun, me having a set day to play and saving VODs has stopped me from streaming sometimes

What I play also needs to change: I could now technically do a week of RPG, and the next week of Action, but a week in between play sessions is already a long time, making it two weeks will be even worse

So I'll be dropping, or at the very least delaying Octopath until I'm done with Nine Sols

I tried this for a while now, and it's evident now that while I was able to manage the 2 stream a week for a while, it also filled up a lot of my time.

So because of this, I'm changing my stream schedule to go back to only Thursdays now.
