just a reminder that your local library has more than just books! many also have dvds, cds, video games, internet hot spots, grindr hookup spots, chupacabras, streaming services, ebooks, audio books, skibidi toilets, gateways to the shadow realm, and so much more! maybe it's time for a visit! β€οΈπβ€οΈπβ€οΈπ

sure responding to that email would take approximately five minutes but what if I thought about not responding to it with a flash of brief but crushing shame every day for several weeks instead

The best colloquial Scottish phrase I've come across for describing someone who is boastful or conceited, heard in Aberdeen, is βhe thinks heβs the cheese, but heβs only the stink.β
The website I frequently buy my KN95 Powecom masks from, Bonafide Masks, is having a Black Friday sale with the coupon code BFM35. It's worth picking up extra masks. The headstrap models also come in several colors and don't cause my glasses to fog after I adjust the noseband for a better fit.

Eating too much cake is the sin of gluttony. However, eating too much pie is okay because the sin of pi is always zero.

Ok so I gotta level with you fam, this is not a Star Trek screenshot. It's one of those department of health posters you find in bathrooms that display helpful hand warshing techniques. The poster is 13 little comic book scene style squares displaying hands in various stages of hand warshing with music lyrics under each one to help you, the filthy hand warsher, know how long you should spend warshing your filthy, filthy hands. The top of the poster reads, "Hand washing technique with soap and water." And the music that reads under each square is as follows, "(1) It's been a long road, getting to there from here(2)It's been a long time but my time is finally near(3)And I will see my dream come alive at last(4)I will touch the sky, and they're not gonna hold me down no more(5)No, they're not gonna change my mind(6)'Cause I've got faith of the heart(7)I'm going where my heart will take me(8)I've got faith to believe-I can do anything- I've got strength of the soul(9)And no one's gonna bend or break me(10)I can reach any star(11)I've got faith(12)(I've got-I've got-I've got) I've got faith,(13)FAITH OF THE HEART" Faith of the Heart, credit to Russell Watson.*
