very minor stompgame note: i wrote up a decently in-depth how-to for making a custom character! it covers some of the basic concepts and more importantly gets into a lot of the less-obvious quirks of the game. it's now in the ZIP file example on the custom page & free on patreon

also, concerning the ability to change the messages that display in the ingame feed, it's sort of an obvious oversight on my part to have not included it 😅 i'll look into making it possible soon!

fantastic work on this! it's probably one of the most fully overhauled customs i've seen yet. i love the way you modified the 'stickers' behavior, how you can stomp and stick them over and over, very cute & clever.

any image editing software should work well enough, but aseprite is what i use! any sort of more 'pixel-art' focused program might serve better towards matching the general aesthetic of the provided UI and whatnot

this is amazing, looks fantastic! i was thinking that 3d could work really well for this exact purpose, but lacking the knowhow had no way of seeing it realized. the limited color palettization seems to have worked very well to make it fit in stylistically -- thanks for sharing ❤️

that's quite an impressive time, well done! you've discovered the means of squeezing every ant for all that they're worth in nearly as efficient of a manner as possible... NEARLY!! keep it up, maybe some day you'll be able to stomp as good as me >:P !

hearing that those not into the crunchier/crueler aspects of this size stuff have been enjoying the game despite its very crunchy/cruel nature has been perhaps the most gratifying feedback of all 😭i'm extremely happy to hear that you've been enjoying it to its fullest potential... more to come!!
