That's like when people say: "We want smaller phones! Current phones are too big!" and then proceed to not buy said smaller phones so companies discontinue those lineups or straight up leave mobile phones market like Asus.

Yeah, that was the original meaning but these days it's either that or "has a smaller team and financial support from a publisher but the team has full creative freedom/independence".

I still own a book about how to use Blender 2.68 which I bought when I was a teenager. I never learned from it because once I took it all more seriously the book was already way too outdated. 😅

Don't do this to me.

Firehose is just displaying data on decentralized ATproto which are public by default. Anything you post, who you follow, who you block etc. on BlueSky is available to anybody on at://darkswordsman.com. Even stuff you delete could still be cached there for a while.

Hell yeah! Either that or they could just get one of those cheap Chinese handhelds. There is so much good stuff to play on a thingy with a phone chip, a gamepad and a screen for $100.

Blocking unfortunatelly just makes it so you won't see it's posts here but all ATproto data are completely open so they can scrape it anyway. Anybody can. But as a gesture it makes sense I guess.

It's not hard to get cheaper second hand hardware faster than 7700XT which is sort of an equivalent of PS5 Pro's GPU. 5070 is considerably faster than that.

Also Q and E are down and up in that mode.

Of course. Just select the 3D viewport and hold right mouse button to enable WASD movement (shift to "sprint"). In that mode scroll wheel will adjust your movement speed (without holding right mouse button it's adjusting zoom).

It's a fraction amount-wise but I would argue that a lot of them are buying much more games then those who don't have Steam Deck. At least that's how it was for me. The "console experience" of Steam Deck surely plays a role.

Thank you!

I haven't played a multiplayer game in many years. I play games to relax and to escape from people not the other way around.

I think some players got spoiled by early access management games which often get released in a more basic state and add new content in every update untile the game is released.

We just need to wait a little for some millenials to become filthy rich old people and patron devs to make retro looking games for them.

OGs create their own references.

Yeah, it really depends on which IDE and what kind of setup you have. At my work we have a guy who went deep and set up some skills for AI and since then it's actually very useful.

I mean... LLM code prediction and suggestions are kinda cool.

Are they ready for Godot though? 🤔

If you are just starting then definitely Godot.

Yeah, I was really surprised that it works and even has "game backups" on it's hard drive. ☺️ Unfortunatelly it's one of the older models which are prone to dying from overheating so I need to do a proper maintanance before I can play games on it.

"Do you guy not have phones?" kind of response.

What a coincidence... Just this Saturday I pulled out one fully functioning PS3 out of a dumpster. I guess people don't value them at all these days.

If you care about the art of video games your next GPU should be AMD or Intel. At least it'll their shareholders decide it's AI slop time...

I mean... it can't be that bad... 😅

Slay the Spire 2 was made with Godot and C#. If Mega Crit can make a game with it and have 500k+ concurent players I don't think it's actually that bad.

Love the demo. Can't wait for the full release. 👍
