Whoever said “never meet your heroes” never met Jim Robson.
Spent an afternoon with him in 2019 for a story with @danburritt.bsky.social, and he showed us his old notes, took us to where he called games at Pacific Coliseum, and was as patient and kind as could be.
What a wonderful human.

Listening to Jim Robson call hockey games on the radio was a constant throughout my youth. He set a standard of excellence. Thoughts to his family and friends.
Jim Robson did what he loved, was revered by a province, was the nicest man you can imagine, and two weeks ago, just after turning 91, was out smiling and watching his favourite hockey team.
May we all be so kind, lucky and blessed.

November afternoon Coast Life.
John Horgan loved his family, his province, a good dad joke, and trying his level best every day.
Here are two photos, from the moment he announced he was becoming premier and the moment announced he was stepping down.
My thoughts with his family, who deserved so much more time with him after.
A significant loss. My heart goes out to family and friends of Mazina Giizhik - The Honourable Murray Sinclair. His words: “The road we travel is equal in importance to the destination we seek. There are no shortcuts. When it comes to truth and reconciliation, we are all forced to go the distance.”
