You've never seen human anatomy like this before.

Using a particle accelerator, the Human Organ Atlas is producing 3D scans of our organs in unprecedented detail! You can look through different layers of tissue and even zoom in on the cells for the heart, lungs, eyes, kidneys, and more.

Thank you, Lee! I have loved @stonecirclereview.bsky.social and @moistpoetryjournal.bsky.social for some time. Was glad to see this prompt from you there. It’s still so cool to me how this community works together. I’m glad you enjoyed the poem.

All four of my bronze age fantasy axes~
I am very, very happy with how these turned out.
If you, too, would like a fantasy weapon, I can draw one for you! They are a flat cost of $50.

Made good on my effort to try this one. Went an unexpected direction. Apparently my life is a rupture.

Happy with this as my poem to #PoetryMonth today, though.

Asteroid City is one of my favorite movies. Especially of Anderson’s. What a great prompt. Looking forward to giving this a try.

The Layman

Sometimes I take quiet walks
That last for several years.
Never home again, I have been known
To pass the old house on occasion.

Today, I stand far from it
Healing where a tree has broken
Through a tender rib of sky.
Scenes rush on; graduate us . . .

One day I may feel as large
As whatever it is I am up to.
But in all likelihood, I will die this way:
Not quite bright enough.

Asheville, North Carolina
lemon, rosemary, wild onion,
and underneath it all is the vague scent of horse dung and love's frustrations.

#smallpoemsunday always gives me the opportunity to take the razor to poems that need it.

Or Cape Marguerite or any of about half a dozen other names. But yes. ☺️
