Yeah I’m struggling with this hearing.

RFK Jr. is lying every time he is asked a question and we’re expected to just like accept that this is normal business.

THIS. MAN. SHOULD. NOT. BE. HHS. SECRETARY. PERIOD.

He is dangerous and he is harming so many people.

The GOP are slow learners.

🚨 WARNING:
“Our message to Florida Republicans, F around and find out.” ~ Leader Hakeem Jeffries

They learned nothing from their shellacking in California, or their loss in Virginia.

Trump admin agrees to pay $1.25M to 2016 Trump adviser over surveillance DOJ OK'd the settlement with Carter Page, but he could still press claims against ex-officials.

A new wholly corrupt settlement handing your money to Trump cronies.

It’s notable for several reasons:

They were warned that Iran would block the Strait of Hormuz, too.

They aren't so real good at listening.

Not sure if someone else has already pointed this out: the indictment against SPLC has multiple counts for false statements to a bank, 18 USC 1014. Theory explicitly stated in indictment is that certifications to open accounts were “false or misleading.”

But there’s a problem:

So Hegseth didn’t get along with the Navy Secretary and also doesn’t get along with the Army Secretary. He seems to be the common denominator.

A lot of public service work is task specific, i.e. there is not a big private market for it. So one logic for civil service protections to recruit and retain people who see it has their career, and invest in improving their expertise. Harder to do that now.

Obviously Bhattacharya is a hypocritical hack. That’s who he is, it’s priced in, so I’m not so angry at him. I’m mostly angry at the useful idiots who accepted and promoted the “he’s part of a new generation of freethinkers open to new ideas” bullshit.
