After 15 games, Chelsea have accumulated 31 points (a rate of 2.07 PPG)🔵⚪️

To reach 90 points, Chelsea would need to win 59 out of a possible 69 points📊

This would be a rate of 2.57 PPG, which in a full season would give Chelsea 97 points📈

@23carra.bsky.social mentioned recently that teams in the title race should aim for ~90 points, the same way teams fighting relegation aim for 40 points.

So what do Liverpool, Arsenal, City and Chelsea need to do to hit 90 points🤔 #LFC #AFC #MCFC #CFC

Their influences at either end of pitch cannot be understated. Liverpool blew City away in the opening stages, but Salah's creativity was the difference. City enjoyed the lion's share of possession in the second half, but van Dijk swept up everything that came into the box. #LFC

Liverpool showcased their versatility today. First half, they steamrolled City with intense pressing and created numerous chances. Second half, they dug deep, defended their box brilliantly, and punished City on the counter. Another tactical masterclass from Arne Slot. #LFC

One of the best performances of the season so far. Much more aggressive out of possession and we are sustaining our attacks. Need to make the pressure count and take our chances! #QPR

Interesting shape from Rangers out of possession. Smyth and Saito tucked in alongside Field, with Madsen and Morgan positioned higher up behind Celar. #QPR

Surprised to see Varane on the bench, thought he’s been one of our better performers. Paal’s return is a big boost - brings much needed balance down the left. #QPR

Big blow for #LFC ahead of a hectic schedule (though the fixture difficulty eases a bit in upcoming games). Based on this season, I think Slot should - and likely will - go with Gomez over Quansah against City. More experienced and has a better temperament for these type of games.

They have the best squad in the world, with once-in-a-generation stars, like Salah and Van Dijk, who are at the top of their game. Couple this with Slot's continuous tactical acumen (specifically in-game) and Liverpool are certainly the favourites for the title and UCL🔴 #LFC

A thrilling performance and a huge result for Liverpool - not just for their UCL aspirations or breaking their Madrid jinx, but also in continuing their remarkable momentum. #LFC

Far from vintage, with some worrying patterns still lingering. That said, the importance of the three points can’t be overstated. We need to build on this and put together a run to pull clear of danger. Delighted for Celar - some confident finishes from a man out of form🙌🏽 #QPR

Barring a miracle from Celar, it's been the same story as the rest of the season: no urgency, no energy, and a clear lack of quality. Cardiff have had 171 passes in our half, compared to our 40😬

At this stage though, the 3 points matter more than anything else. #QPR

How I would line us up for today.

Lloyd up top over Celar - he was lively off the bench on Saturday and always seems to generate a chance. Would have two natural full-backs to add balance. Not much else can be done given the current circumstances with the squad!🔵⚪️

Hard not to see parallels between City's current struggles and Liverpool's 2022/23 season. An ageing midfield (Hendo/Fabinho➡️Gündoğan/Kovačić) resulting in constant transitions. Add doubts over defenders' mentality, focus and confidence (TAA/VVD➡️Gvardiol)...worrying! #MCFC

An astonishing collapse from City. The backline is just so fragile and fallible right now - big question marks over their mentality. Any momentum they were hoping to take into the Liverpool game has been wiped away! #MCFC

Securing a top-four finish would be an incredible achievement, but Amorim's priority should be embedding his ideas and recruiting players that fit the profiles needed for his system to thrive #MUFC

Amorim should and will be focused on instilling his ethos and ideas, which will undoubtedly bring progress. However, the reality is that this squad's potential is limited by a lack of overall quality. #MUFC

A well-deserved equaliser for Ipswich. They’ve dominated the game and controlled the midfield. Hutchinson has been a constant threat, a lovely finish from him👏🏽 #ITFC #MUFC

Wow, brilliant build up play from United down the right-hand side. Fantastic technical wing-back play from Amad and a nice finish from Rashford. Some start for Amorim!🔥 #MUFC

Excellent win for Liverpool ahead of another tough set of fixtures. Both sides played into their opponents’ hands, but when you have a player like Salah, he will always be the difference. The best in the world right now👑 #LFC

Tyler Dibling’s decision making is elite👌🏽

Southampton failed to recognise the game state. The momentum was with Liverpool who were so effective using the counter-press. Great finish from Szoboszlai as well👏🏽 #LFC

Incredible performance by Spurs, spearheaded by Kulusevski👏 Glued the midfield and the attack, carried the ball brilliantly in transition and delivered quality in the final third. What a season he's having! 🔥 #THFC

Today summed up a lack of quality across the pitch – Dunne’s error on the ball led to their first, and 1.1 non-penalty xG from 22 shots highlights our inability to create quality chances. #QPR #QPRSTO

Déjà vu for QPR? 🤔

Nov 28, 2023: QPR, 10 points & in the relegation zone, beat Stoke City 4-2, igniting an incredible turn in form📈

Nov 22, 2024: QPR, bottom on 10 points, host Stoke City again. Can history repeat itself? 🔵⚪ #QPR

Predicting QPR's XI vs Stoke City📝

For a possession-based style to succeed, balance is key. Ashby can operate down the right flank more naturally than Dunne, while Madsen & Morgan are more composed receiving the ball than Field. Up front, Kolli certainly deserves an opportunity.⚽️🔵⚪
