Camellia flowering again this year, after a huge cut back last year

Our camellia is back flowering this year and looking gorgeous. The rest of the plants are starting to show signs of life.

Just reminded me of our crazy 18 y.o. Buffy. She was very very well loved and left us in our arms. So very very sad.

Spring is coming to the garden.

Little things that gives joy. Camellia is starting to bloom after a year without flowers 🌺 because I trimmed it too much. The plum tree is showing the first flowers, but cherry blossoms 🌸 are not here yet! The bird seeds have been eaten by a huge range of birds . From little robins to big pigeons!

Good morning! Hubby is soon disappearing to play pickle ball 🥎 . I am going to try to move the new mattress upstairs, change the old one and get it sorted nicely!
Now he just told me to go and ger some sourdough!
