I thought it was turkey-based, and imagined something like a breaded turkey burger.

Would absolutely have sold family out for it on a cold day.

Totally agree, and it also prevents implicit off-screen character development, which makes TLJ’s job much harder (and IMO fails for Finn and Poe)

Seconded! As someone who smashed a bunch of teeth a decade ago coming off my bike, I never cycle now without my full-face helmet. (I also go a lot slower, but nevertheless!)

Tories Are Lost Because Their Ideology Failed The question facing the Conservative party is what to do when its core beliefs turn out to be fantasies.

The Tories are lost because every part of their ideology has failed.

Commentary on the leadership race has focused on the candidates, but their fundamental problem is that their entire worldview has collapsed.

Halo: Infinite for me (despite liking it and playing it quite a lot!). The plot from 4 & 5 was getting interesting and they just… resolved it off-screen and explain it in a flashback. 😐

A newsletter of despair It's so easy to give in to hate and tribalism, but it won't save a single life.

Hard piece to write. I'm not going to try and sell it. It's basically me attempting to prevent a total slide into despair over what's happening in the Middle East. If you find yourself confused and upset, maybe it'll help. But probably not. iandunt.substack.com/p/a-newslett...

Trying something here. Only for people with no formal study of philosophy. Please name three philosophers. Any era, country, or school, but the first three who come to mind. (Would also be helpful to know where you live.) Thank you.

Completely agree. Starting to buy pre-grated, in addition to block, was oddly freeing.

Even if I die early from consuming too much cheese I think the QALY calculation will be positive.

If nothing else, would this argument not also apply to e.g. socialised healthcare?
