Seeing Max Payne speak with a Finnish accent has been surreal for far longer!

That’s fair, I always believe that a remake should have a reason to exist, like, if the original is not compatible with modern systems, difficult to run, unfinished, locked to aging hardware, only available in small numbers, etc.
Screenshot of email from Sony explaining age verification being needed to continue using communication features of the PlayStation Network.
So what this ultimately means is, I'll lose access to features I've never used and will never use...
Do you think you might ever go back to any of your older titles and remake them using the experience you've gained since they released?
If so, anything in particular?
Looking at the history of PS, it surprises me that they've consistantly been about 6-7 years apart, so to keep the same pattern the PS6 should release in 2027 or 2028.
PS1 - 1994
PS2 - 2000 (6 Years)
PS3 - 2006 (6 Years)
PS4 - 2013 (7 Years)
PS5 - 2020 (7 Years)
And lo, Judas looked to the other Desciples and said "April Fools!".
I remember when Ghost in the Shell was the hottest new anime.

I'm not a fan of sports games, mostly due to how they keep just re-releasing the same game every year at full price with little to no further development.
But one sports game I thoroughly enjoyed growing up was Cyberball on the Mega Drive.
What I want to see:
* Genuine passion for the project.
What I want to NOT see:
* "Well excuuuuuuse me, Princess."
I'VE DONE IT, I'VE FUCKING BEATING THE FUCKING BASTARD!!!!!
Quick question for you on this, where you say:
"Recordings must be unedited (putting together your best takes are fine, but no other effects!)"
Do you count noise-reduction as an 'effect' in this case?
Let me re-phrase this:
"We want full, unrestricted control of your likeness to use in any product we make and in any way we see fit and not pay you anything because we think you're all stupid."
A Golden Sun remake in that exact style would be amazing!
I read a great book released some years ago called 'Halting State' which was written in what I think is called 2nd-person-perspective (please correct me if I'm wrong), i.e. it was phrased as:
"You wake up and make your breakfast." etc.
I wonder how those people would take that?
I've only bought one of their products and was disappointed how cheap it felt.
After it was revealed that some of their releases used CD-R's I decided to never give them any money again.
I've seen too many AAA games over the last 2 decades from big developers where cutscenes feel lazily done, and that's without including those with poor localisation.
So don't worry, those who understanding the work required will see your efforts in the finished product.
Four video game characters that are extremely important to me:
Blaze Fielding (Streets of Rage 1991)
Azel (Panzer Dragoon Saga 1998)
Bastila Shan (Star Wars KOTOR 2003)
Emma Honeywell (The Last Remnant 2008)
I fear you also misunderstood my sarcasm of ending that statement with '..........' and I apologise.
You can only escape the horror of Death Stranding by not playing the game at all.
I wouldn't limit that to just Capcom, most arcade games were insanely flashy.
Nor would I limit it to epileptics, e.g. people who suffer from auditory overload.
Just ignore the story and go endless delivering, you'll never see any horror that way.........
Yeah, thinking about it, I’d recommend having the back of the column visible to sell the illusion of it still being supported. While collapsing geometry would be an impressive inclusion, adding that complexity would introduce level design problems further down the line.
So, will this use Minecraft physics and leave floating geometry?
I adored this and its sequel back in the day, still got the big box editions.
It’s a shame the third one wasn’t as good.
GARY
Sony's become the new scalper.
Problem is they don't want to deal with the fallout of saying they used GenAI, so they're all hoping no one finds it and saying nothing unless something gets found, forcing them into damage-control.
My question is, how many games are out there already where the AI content hasn't been found yet?
Sounds like every job I've ever had.
Nice to know there are some who are different.
Everytime I see a video on YT with an AI generated thumbnail, I select the 'do not recommend this channel' option.
Snatcher for Sega Mega CD (also for for PC Engine) has one of my all time favouite openings.
