📌 After the Olympic Games is before the Olympic Games. Last week the Senior Executive Teams of Milano Cortina 2026, the French Alps 2030 and the IOC met in Lausanne to discuss key learnings from the past edition of the games and to pass them on to the Organising Committee of the next edition.

The Youth Olympic Games will take place from 31 October to 13 November 2026, bringing together around 2,700 young athletes aged up to 17 across three host zones: Dakar, Diamniadio and Saly. They are the first Olympic event on the African continent.

The Chefs de Mission received in-depth updates through presentations and interactive working sessions on key operational areas, including logistics, accommodation, sport, medical services, and food and beverage. The programme also included visits to competition venues & to the Youth Olympic Village.

📌 The Youth Olympic Games Dakar 2026 take shape: Over 200 NOCs came together for the Chefs de Mission Seminar.
