Biden basically took all of the stuff "moderates" who voted for Trump in 2016 figured he might be able to get done, actually did a good chunk of it, and then no one cared.

I meant more so the doordash part specifically, but this is good data.
Do we have any metrics tracking this besides just spending on these types of services increasing? I'm convinced it's concentrated amongst a handful of the country mostly concentrated in major urban areas.

Michael Clayton may seem like a downer ending, but what you don't see is that a Hollywood Exec ends up on the jury, is blown away by his charisma and command in sting operation audio, finds a picture showing him to be one of the most handsome men to walk the planet and immediately makes him a star.
I've definitely grown more bullish this past year as I've explored the agentic stuff more. Yes it is still reliant on the probabilistic output of an LLM, but it can actually DO something with it.

Oh wow, I didn't even realize the next term's election is November, she's basically going right back into campaign mode. Is the GOP expected to spend more on that one? One thing I noticed being in a solid red town is how little activity I saw, it was almost like they didn't even try.
It's annoying because when she won the primary I thought maybe this would be the perfect test case for the progressive hypothesis about Bernie '16 given how moderate the area is, but given what I've seen and heard there's just no way to control for how much of this was simply "fuck trump!"
If we didn't have the last half year we have had I'd be more inclined to follow this thread, but I really think it's just Trump at this point. Even the semi-engaged are now on board with doing whatever it takes to hold him back.
Arguably one of THE last people that should be allowed to judge any marriage.
Yeeeeeeaaahh the majority of Americans didn't even care that oil rigs couldn't open fast enough and Russia attacked Ukraine as reasons that gas went up.
Hold up, I genuinely can't tell which one means which.
I mean his skin definitely much more leathery at his age than a lot of other milliennials (idk why, a lot of people say smoking but even my buddies that smoked still look like 20 somethings in 80s movies), but for me it's more that he looks like a fusion of every frat bro I came across in college.
I know we're supposed to hate the deep state pulling the strings style politics, but serious kudos to whomever made sure this Swalwell story got out right before the vote splitting ruined California.

And to be clear, I meant any workers. Obviously fast food workers aren't uniquely targeted.
I mean this was always a stretch. Doesn't matter what the salary is, if they can automate fast food workers they will.
I always thought Swalwell's appearance was kind of ironic given the positions he represented so this would be a big win for sometimes being able to judge a book by it's cover.
Hell if we had just embraced the direction Biden was setting us on and pushed for the IRA to be something we should build upon, maybe we'd at least have a light at the end of the tunnel.
Also, wasn't he gloating about being in on the cut just 24 hrs earlier???
Wait, what? I thought we were in on the cut??? ๐คฃ
You mean to tell me Leo is moonlighting as a politician in Europe???
I'm still partial to "have you ever made out in dark hallways?"
I think I screwed up. I wanted to get rid of a mattress and now SA Martinez has been rapping in my doorway for 2 hours straight!
3rd best, but I respect the opinion nonetheless.
If there's anything you can count on as a mets fan, it's for the team to amass a generational level pitching talent at a time when everything else about the team is at best in question.
Was going to use lost as an example as well, though I think at the time at least Alan didn't like the ending nearly as much as me. They're also a bit of a hybrid in that they admitted the actual story wasn't as much planned out as just the beats they wanted to hit like what the last sequence is.
