As we close out 2025, I'm happy to share my first foray into film scoring. Many thanks to Jason, Harley, and Wes for giving me the opportunity!
That any of us have to care about the messy breakup of these two massive narcissists — and that they both individually wield such massive power — is an indictment of our political system and further proves the poisonous influence of Big Money on our democracy.
Our R.E.M. tribute band Dot Dot Dot played at the Southgate House Revival this weekend as part of the New-Loc Music Fest. Here's the full set.
We'll be at the Village Theatre on May 31 with Counting Wet Blossoms supporting -- details and tickets coming soon.
Justin Lynch & the New Usuals performing on stage.
Come share the stage with Justin Lynch as he hosts the Weds Night Jam from 6-10 tonight at Mike's Music in Mainstrasse! The bar is open and all backline is provided. I'll play a few songs as part of the New Usuals, the Skywriters, Dot Dot Dot, and maybe just because. 635 Main St., Cov, KY
Looking forward to my debut show with Last Scouts one week from today! We're playing with Juan Electro, which includes two members of Justin Lynch & The New Usuals as well as some other heavy hitters from the Cincy Music Scene (tm). At the Southgate House Revival, Feb 1st.

How about “Chemtrails?”
might as well be the introvert. 'Sup?
Lots of new people, no new posts. Working theory: we're all waiting for a critical mass of folks to show up before saying anything important or interesting, because we want a space that is not all politics but rather a public sphere to be social...with media. Someone has to break the ice /
This piece should be the start of every college course, including my media productions courses! "Merchants of withdrawal" is a fantastic way to re-frame the so-called "attention economy," but it only gets to the socio-economic aspect; the way screens affect brain development is equally terrifying.
Same! Apparently there are some algorithmic things you can do here that I don't quite understand that curates your feed for you? Somehow? Guess we'll find out...(big breath)...together.
Ha ha! "The other place."
