Perales threw 14 four-seam fastballs and averaged 99mph on them while averaging 93mph on the 18 cutters he threw. Big time stuff.

The Red Wings suffered their first loss of the season today, and Luis Perales got the loss in his first start in the Nats system working 2.1 innings. For those interested in velo, though....Perales topped out at 100.7 mph on the gun and threw three pitches over 100 mph.
