Like, I don't really care that much about what position they're in, and the wildest kink ever doesn't really matter that much unless I know WHY the character is into it and what it is doing for them mentally and emotionally, as well as physically. Writing porn is hard because you can't just say

The secrets to writing good porn are thus:
1) Always give insight into how your characters are feeling emotionally about the sex. Even if it's not romantic, they probably feel SOMETHING, and that's the interesting part.
2) Remember that sex is wet and weird, and that's what's hot
3) just say "cock".
