For much of my recent FFXIV art I like to make quick reference poses in Brio, which helps me a lot with details and dimension. For fun, here's the one I made for this compared to the art:

Just a bit too late to actually be within #TataruWeek2026, but with how she's been to Rivière across their journey, I couldn't not draw anything at all for it. Consider this a potential snapshot of their reunion in 7.5 : > #riviart

Pouting over Krile's agreement with Zenos probably went on longer... but she fully buttered them back up sooner than later. 🩷

The whole last stretch of EW felt kind of like a whirlwind dream to them later on. It still kind of does. They were exhausted all day afterwards, but the physical aftereffects didn't last too much longer.

They didn't fret about being the same as him any longer, or giving him what he wanted. After everything, that just... didn't matter to them anymore. He just had to go.

Rivi proceeded to use their sickest Picto abilities yet on him. I like to think it was half overexertion that almost took them out.

Rivi very deeply loathed Zenos, no mistake about that, and this reached new heights during EW. But after their long talk with Meteion (without fighting Endsinger, at that), Rivi felt oddly collected and detached from Zenos.

I've felt a little fomo out at times for not delving into that as much as people I know, but honestly, given what a personal, long-awaited, much-needed healing arc EW was for Rivi despite everything, I think it's better that it was a moment of conquering demons rather than a source of more trauma.

Been on social media leave for mental health again, but I will have things soon! The second chapter of my fic is FINALLY finished and will be posted once the art for it is done. I also hope I can get a little sketch in for Tataru Week...

Self-love is another crucial thing they've had to learn, but... they're still a bit of a work in progress on that front. That said, they are definitely the sort of person to emphatically encourage others to treat themselves well and struggle to do the same...

To never lose sight of yourself - a multifaceted statement from Rivi's perspective. From keeping their gender identity close, to their darkest period involving dissociation, to finally embracing their strengths to save the star in ways only they could, by showing Meteion kindness and understanding.

Their feelings for Mashi clicked in a much healthier way, although they were even slower and more dense about it there (girl literally surprise kissed Rivi before fending off Braves after the banquet). It was in The First, fueled by years of separation on Mashi's part and the ensuing intimacy.

Rivi's self-loathing meant that they subconsciously denied it would or has amounted to anything for years, though. And if we're talking when Rivi finally /accepted/ it, uh... unfortunately that took a manic breakdown and kissing a barely conscious Krile while coated in Imperial blood.

With Krile, it's actually a little hard to point at a specific moment because it was really more of a years long buildup since they were teens... If anything, I would probably say Krile helping Rivi fem up after they came out to her was the first big heart-flutter.
