thinking the workaround for my homelab should be like this 🤔

I only need the wireless interface so I can access the Proxmox dashboard from other devices over the network (which I can't do rn when the host is connected via cable), so I think in theory, it *should* work.

...................okay, I THINK I have a solution to get around the AP isolation of my home router.

Either
(a) bridge the cable interface to the wireless interface, or
(b) let them be, but only allow outbound access via cable interface and assign static IP to the wireless int

Now to make sure the connection also goes through to the VMs and my homelab server will be ready to go

And before anyone hounds me, I KNOW using WLAN for Proxmox is NOT recommended.

But I'm heavily suspecting the AP isolation in our home router has something to with my inability to access Proxmox dashboard from other computers when it's on Ethernet cable and it's been driving me insane.

Finally got my Proxmox device running over WLAN..... ahahahahahaha...... (tired)

I decided to just go with Debian for now and plan to install Proxmox on top of it later. 😅 Might not be optimal, but there are some things I want to learn first before going full Proxmox.

Already did but sadly didn't work. I am currently suspecting our home router (Fiberhome) bonked it due to the wi-fi-connected devices and ethernet devices not detecting each other.

....I'll have to give up for now, but I'll surely get back to Proxmox once I have proper setup!

Finally got Proxmox running but can't still access it from other computers (may be for the better, though)
