I saw all of what they said in that post. It's kind of crazy, but also a reality we have to adapt to. I guess "Early Access" culture isn't a thing over there and apparently they make American customer service complaints look like child's play.
It is a shame that Customer Support >>>>> Dev Support
クリスマスカラーといえばワルキューレ。
#ワルキューレの伝説
I've tried describing it as Nu-Zelda, as an Immersive Sim, as a Scribblenauts with *ACTUAL* gaming verbs, as a different take on Noita's alchemy, as Mosa Lina, as everything I love that resembles it in some way or another.
I think people will warm up to it, it's just attention is so fragmented rn.
Thing is... people are thinking Jensen is still talking B2C, when he is clearly talking B2B. He gives no shits about anyone, much less gamers. This is another move by the technocracy lobbyists that support them. I hate this situation tbh. We aren't mad ENOUGH.
I loved when Larian did this. Such a middle finger to WotC.
My 2022 GOTY
Speaking of thief likes, check The Citadel Project. He doesn't post on this site, but he does at the ex-bird site. Really worth a look!
Had no idea there was a source port for Cave Story, thanks for the share!
Man, I can't keep up and we're not even over the first quarter of the year.
Wait a minute lol...so Sega reused their own art a few years later for this title screen
Everyone outside the first world.
Microsoft has pretty good supply chains set up throughout the world, so it would be remarkably cheaper to get an Xbox than to try to build a PC equally as strong. Backwards compatibility adds up too.
Most people underestimate how the PC gaming world is out there.
Thanks for the insight. I do see it with Halo and Cicadamata, I just didn't find it as clearly referential in Supplice. This gives me more context for the claim. Thanks again!
Supplice is great and houses some of the best DOOM modding talent around, but as someone who recently played Marathon (thanks in part to your recommendations), I struggle to see the ways in which you'd compare Supplice to Marathon (Durandal/Infinity).
Can you elaborate on this? Thanks in advance.
For anyone interested, you can play something close to the Duke 2 Remastered version in the Evercade Collection (but not Duke 1 due to rights to the code for that version). The Evercade version is better as it comes nicely packed and includes the first Duke, but oh well.

Happy to announce that DREAMM 4.0 is now available for Windows, macOS, and Linux!

Now with support for all Lucas-family games released prior to 2000 on DOS, Windows, and FM-Towns, including all 8 Lucas Learning games. Network play is also now supported (experimentally).
Never ever seen Veart of China before. Looks real pretty, hope it plays as well.

There's a newer branch of the SDL port that supports 60 fps over here, I highly recommend it:

A lot of beat em ups kinda fail to understand the utility of special moves when making huge changes to other aspects of design. They make super fast combo games but then still design special moves as crowd control utility, and it's like brother what are you doing no one can hit me anyways.
I also think a lot of gamers underestimate the power of just naturally enjoying the thing you love & how people gravitate to that
You won’t have to tell people to play a game for some greater cause, you won’t have pit it against another game
Sincere passion is contagious (and good for you)
Bluetooth is like that tourist that unironically tells a local to speak English as if it should be expected
Sorry to interrupt, just wanted to say I'm a fan of both of your games, and I've been promoting them on the other app lately too. Both of you are geniuses!
There was a recent Megaman X related Doom WAD released recently that deserves a look as well. Check it out on doomworld: www.doomworld.com/forum/topic/...

This & VOID/BREAKER are the two games in that roguelite FPS genre people are not talking about enought. I know about Witchfire and the other games you also post about, but these two are truly something else.
I have the most engaged with review for the game in English. I've always been a Smash fan, tried the game out one afternoon a few years ago and here we are...
I love it and I hate it. The playerbase is mostly young, that's why you don't see much of it in our more "boomer" (rather millennial) spaces
I love this. Perhaps a skill we need to start learning, on how to properly work PCBs of everything.
Same, I'm more or less in the same boat. The environments look beautiful, and the puzzles are very "early RE" inspired. Unlike most developers, even the REGIONAL PRICING is fantastic over here. I bought it today and will play it through the week. It's impossible to keep up with everything.
Oh yeah, did I mention that the game is going through the 50% price cut??? 2LT publisher sale just began!
Time to sleep, but one final gaming-related shoutout: That new free Rabbit & Steel expansion adds one more key element from Final Fantasy 14 that it was missing:
Impossibly hype vocal boss themes.
Game is half off until the 14th and VERY good.
