Ok, but I’ve been thinking about Space Camp
So. Many. Tears.
Told my wife to have dinner ready at 6 or I'll obliterate her entire civilization. So anyway, she now charges me a fee to use the bathroom that used to be free, and I didn't get any dinner, but I'm pretty sure I won that exchange.
I lol'd at this.😆
Oh no. I’m so sorry friend.
I’m with you. I don’t understand how 40 yo women can be so miserably mean. It’s a choice they make everyday.
I feel this
famous music video with first mate schee in the corner
That’s Smee in the corner
Learning that some women never grow out of the mean girl phase.
I don’t particularly think it tastes that good, but I grew up a margarine kid so my palette when it comes to spreads is already tainted. 😂
Now I want to go to Wales!
I’m not terribly picky about butter, I’ve either got TJ’s in my fridge or store brand from wherever I’m shopping.
My unpopular opinion is that Kerrygold butter is overrated.
Oh gosh. I was spiraling too, especially when it looked like Iran was creating a human shield.
This whiplash where the president terrifies the world for a few days with unhinged threats and then says “never mind” and then there’s this implication that anyone scared of his unhinged threats was overreacting is very domestic abuse but make it a country.
I do too, but also, I wonder how much of his whole shtick is just to threaten people into complying. At some point other nations and governments are going to stop taking him seriously and it’s then that I feel like he’ll be his most dangerous.
Oh I agree, I can’t imagine what they must be feeling.
I’m glad it seems it isn’t happening, but did we honestly think he’d do it? Trump threatens almost more than he breathes.
Of The Empire We will be known as a culture that feared death and adored power, that tried to vanquish insecurity for the few and cared little for the penury of the many. We will be known as a culture that taught and rewarded the amassing of things, that spoke little if at all about the quality of life for people (other people), for dogs, for rivers. All the world, in our eyes, they will say, was a commodity. And they will say that this structure was held together politically, which it was, and they will say also that our politics was no more than an apparatus to accommodate the feelings of the heart, and that the heart, in those days, was small, and hard, and full of meanness. - Mary Oliver
God this poem is haunting me again.
As my mother used to say, “that wasn’t a suggestion, that was an order”
Now would be a really good time to watch Anthony Bourdain’s episode on Tehran. It’s so beautiful. youtu.be/cGWhGCy1CNE?...

I almost picked it up the other day. Sounds like I should go back for it. I love James Patterson
It tastes so Mormon and I love it.
Truly
So much talk about the far side and all I can picture is this banger.
I am not surprised by any of the kind of … poignancy a lot of people are finding in the Artemis II story. To me, it’s like talking to someone you love who you almost never get to see anymore. This is the kind of story I miss when every day makes me despair. How many more will we have?
They make legs look short. I can wear them to work so I have a couple pair, but when I’m just at home I wear good old regular no-Mo shorts as god intended.
Took the train to DC specifically to ride the longest escalator in the Western hemisphere.
It was a really good day.
The crazy thing is Bermuda shorts are officially in style, not just Mormon chic. Everything has been soured. 😂
Maxi skirts. Cap sleeve anything.
