I placed an order for a record being made and distributed via Elastic Stage yesterday which I feel shows either (a) incredible confidence in the orange **** rowing back last night or (b) a horrible lack of awareness of what is going on in the world when I’m in the middle of the working day.

I’m off to Manchester for Aficionado mate… never stay at home over bank holiday if i can be elsewhere! Those boys on their loud motorcycles, fighting on the beaches in their HP suits, shagging in alleys… the bellboy from the Grand getting arrested, I mean, honestly, louts, the lot of ‘em.

Yeah, sometimes it all falls into place. Only one was planned, the rest was just quirk of good timing.

I’m heading back to those bad boys now. Need my sea view mate, I’m not a savage.

Arrived just after lunch, good hour in Phonica, quick stop in Reckless, nosey look at the trainer ‘specialists’, bit of grub b4 superb Catherine Opie show at National Portrait Gallery, quick pint then 2nd row for Self Esteem in Teeth & Smiles before a cockney singalong in the pub.
