2nd test-drive of my 2-stage split entry design prototype. Still holding with no leaks. It has a 70mm (~2.75") opening, which is good for about 1h before I get stuck. But luckily I can sparated it 😁

Any should do. Just stay away from those metal/shiny decorative filaments. They have nylon mixed in to achieve the effect which causes terrible layer bonding.

Yes that would be a solution, but still doesn't solve the gasket. I want to make it as easy as possible for people to maintain it without having to order custom parts for it.

I've actually tried this, but the two halfs need to be aligned precisely which isn't always the case when you try to clamp it. Can be solved but still wouldn't tackle the drawback of screwing and custom gasket

I'm inching closer to a viable solution for my 2-stage split design. But:
1) It needs four screws+shims. Putting it on/off is fiddly.
2) The gaskets wear off and need replacement. They're easy and cheap to make, but ideally you would require tools (hole-punch) to make.
Your thoughts on that?

There are a lot of online services where you can get stuff printed. I've never tried one, but they exist

As Edison has discovered lots of ways how to not make a light bulb, I'm finding new ways of how to not make a 2-stage split pump. But I'm only at 6 attempts so far.

Once it's calibrated it's easy. Problem is that you need to tune it to the volume you pump. Otherwise the system starts to become unstable because for the forces are different. So there's always adjustment needed for a new volumes for cycle/switching times of the pump, valve and sensor.

Yes, I only sell the 2-stages. The electric pump is too far from being user-friendly enough that I would sell it with a good conscience.

Ups. Seems I made a typo in the manual. 109.65mm like in the drawing is correct for the outer diameter
