Thanks, Cathey - seems now like I must’ve been thinking of it then. I do love Van Gogh.

Super lovely, Matt. That's some of my favorite stuff, too.

I need to spend more time with this crowd. There's a massive rookery near me that transforms the neighborhood in winter. Thousands of them.

Beautiful, Michael. Never gets old.

Wonderfully set. The snow looks sort of a soft lavender on my screen, lovely against the gold bits.

Thank you, Martin - definitely not my usual.

Thank you, Michael - I generally don't think IR does much for animals. But I'm not getting out the UV/IR cut filter just for the odd bird photo. ;)

New kit? That's very exciting - a 180 - 600mm sounds like a lot of fun!

The Crowletariat gather for a union meeting outside my window.

An #infrared from the archives, while I wait for 13TB of photos to restore from backup.

I like this, Kelly. Reminds me of a national parks serigraph.

That's something I need to get better at. You and @starlitwaltz.bsky.social really nail it.

Indeed! They had a lot of wall space to cover. It was such a fun project to do.

Do you ever use 550 nm? I notice it can be quite soft, almost fuzzy. I had a lot of haloing to fix here. Still, it's my favorite wavelength for botanicals.

Tough to stay focused today, isn't it? I'm glad you're here, Neil. Beautiful capture.

I’m flattered, Gerry - thanks for the kind comment.

Ooh, that's nice. Like an IR Chrome.

I like it too. The colors are uncommon - subtle but with some intensity, too.

Magnolia Tree, in false-color infrared. This made a lovely 60 x 90" print.

We're all in this together 🩵
