2/2 and then have them somewhere sunny for the summer they will often flower the first summer then leave them in the pots for winter and then plant them ..some take better then others but its an easy way to get more roses

best time is October ..about 12 inch stem about pencil thickness or a little bit more and push into a pot of compost 3 or 4 stems i use rose pots like the Austin ones as they are best deep then leave them outside but sheltered and around the next May/June move them carefully to bigger pots 1/2

Planting roses today ..these are cuttings i took in October 2024 ..so about 18 months ..grown well in the pots and now time to plant them in the ground ..all for free 🌹
