Isn’t Peter Thiel a Kiwi now?
3 nights ago in Logan Circle, DC.
Paul Bryant, a corporate attorney in both DC was swarmed by MPD, FBI, and Trump's masked thugs.
He's an attorney, West Point graduate, and Army veteran.
Handcuffed for over an hour, his car unlawfully searched.
Pirro's office then tried to charge him.
‘Never Let Me Go’ was right there… youtu.be/Uu5lF4MZgPk?...
This is one of the most beautiful things I have witnessed, the craft here is impeccable.
From the FT editorial meeting: “For some reason, people respect us too much - what can we do to fix that?!”
Ahoy-hoy?
Caving on those digital taxes really worked out, huh?

Not here to defend anything either of these fools says, but is he actually referencing the Nazis? Or is this more likely a reference to Republicans’ other historical nemesis, FDR and the New Deal?
How integral do you see the audio as being - it’s obviously very effective as part of the piece, but am wondering if a multi-screen display might work in a more open display area, such as at this year’s Internet Governance Forum (where AI governance is a major issue))?

I guess we shouldn’t have voted for Tru… oh, right…
US speaking in the UNGA earlier this week: “…Therefore, the United States rejects and denounces the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Sustainable Development Goals, and it will no longer reaffirm them as a matter of course.”
Honestly, still shocking…

That a “fix” will be necessary (practically and politically) to many of these cuts is incontrovertible; but having broken the system beyond a point that it can be repaired, the only option will be to contract the private sector - the plan is crystal clear (and many will suffer through it).
If you're coming from the Global South, the information below may be the key to joining this year's IGF to Oslo in person! But the deadline is approaching very fast (17 February), so don't delay! #IGF2025 #internetgovernance #digitalcooperation #wsis #wsis20 #digitalgovernance #aigovernance #ig
This close to the election, Harris is the best of bad options, IMHO.
(Heh… I meant *Democratic* nominee, but I realise the sentence works either way)
…Republicans also love an octogenarian candidate who has trouble stringing together a coherent sentence… there are no good options here.
Sure. But none of that is a reason NOT to ban (or very heavily restrict ownership and use of) guns.
Ah, mystery solved - thanks! I didn’t see it, but between this and that whole “SS isn’t pretty” brouhaha, it’s been quite the pop culture event!
That song seems to be having a moment, and I’m not clear on why…
Are they wrong though?! (They are not.)
…and some hints on what the Internet Governance Forum needs to consider in its plans for follow-up to the GDC.
