How does all this “cost cutting” help the American people? Lost jobs, lost educational opportunities and restrictions on services seem counter productive to making America great.

Is this all really just to give more to the wealthy and corporations?

As much as I loved the convenience of shopping at Target and Amazon, I now recognize that I was participating in the ruin of small businesses when I did it. I’m doing a serious evaluation of all my spending and changing the flow of my money to businesses that are either local or support my values.
