So Coogler got Best Original Screenplay and Michael B Jordan got Best Actor. Happy to see these recognitions, at least. SINNERS was the better movie, compared to OBAA, but Hollywood will only reward Black excellence and artistic independence so much—and the backend deal Coogler got is revolutionary
