I'm going taking the dog out now. See if the little pigeon is still there. It was there this morning, though the poor thing probably got blown away this afternoon.

The only thing you can actually rely on not to break is a book! You watch, the next book I open all the pages will fall out. I have so had enough of this year so far!

It is very annoying. We put up with weeks of grey sky and rain and the first sunny week it's blowing absolute gales for 2 days.

And, and, low brake fluid because the brake pipe has corroded and is peeing out brake fluid. It only passed its MOT a couple of months ago and corrosion doesn't happen over night. Was going to try to get away next week. Forget that then! ๐Ÿคฌ

We can't have normal weather can we, it's just not allowed. Two days of beautiful sunny drying weather and I've done nothing but run in and out unwrapping the washing from the washing line, this afternoon it's yanked it off altogether and chucked it on the bloody grass. #hurricane weather. ๐Ÿคฌ

Owt else to go wrong? MH passed its MOT but leaking grease from somewhere and needs a new boot ๐Ÿคท, one car decided to leak loads of diesel from the injector last week. That's fixed, now the other car decided this morning that it needs brake fluid, so now O.H. has to bleed all the system. ๐Ÿคจ

On my dog walk I pass a house and yesterday I noticed a small pigeon sat on a slab of wood in their front garden. There was food in a dish next to it. Today it was still sat there! Aww, I bet they deliver mis delivered parcels.

Inspired by a bit of sunshine, and despite the frozen Easterly gales we've had today I took my brushed cotton duvet cover off and replaced it with a cotton, nay polyester mix one. Brave soldier that I am. Hope it's not too much like jumping into the North sea tonight. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

It's pitch black outside now, proper dark, yet I just heard a goose flying over. Bit late to be out and about, must have lost its way. Maybe it got blown off course in the howling gales we've had all day, which have stopped now the sun's gone and it's bed time.

It's not hard is it for people just to get their sorry backsides a few doors down and give you your parcel. It's not like we asked the delivery company to deliver to the wrong address. People can be so thoughtless and obnoxious.

Just wasted the last hour thanks to the useless Royal Mail who can't bloody read and a stupid neighbour who couldn't be a*sed walking a few houses down the street to hand us a parcel delivered to her in error. People! They do wind me right up.

We had no peace this morning. 8.30am and more drilling next door as well as yesterday. 8 whole months now and *still* not moved in.

Well I never thought the news could make me laugh so much. Did anyone see those robots running a marathon in China? Hilarious ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

I've got that book. Hopefully will get to read it sometime this year. I chose it for a Goodreads challenge but that ship's sailed now. Still looking forward to reading it though.

But it's not winter any more and these malingering low temperatures are annoying and need to be gone.

Oooh not long, out this coming Thursday. I enjoyed this very much and I'm not that much of a crime fiction fan. A very absorbing plot, I definitely recommend it. โฌ‡๏ธ

I don't blame you. I'm still taking a hot water bottle to bed. 2 degrees outside this morning and 11 degrees in our bedroom. ๐Ÿฅถ.

The sun is actually doing a pretty sterling job of dodging the big black clouds that are littering the sky and has managed to shine more on than off so not too bad after all.

The minute I pressed that 'go' button on the washer the sun went in like it has it's own bloody switch connected to my washing machine. Heaven forbid we have a whole sodding day of sunshine. Whatever next - an increase in temperature? ๐Ÿ™„

I don't take much notice of book covers when I choose a book, however I'll always recognise a book more from the cover than the title if I've read it or even just read what it's about. So the image sticks in my mind more than the title.

I could smell it yesterday but next door are doing their house up and there was a lot going on there so I thought maybe it's paint or turps I could smell, but nope the diesel was all over the road today. ๐Ÿ˜ญ
Hope you get your car fixed soon and it's not too expensive.
