Fair enough. But that hasn't got anything to do with turning chess into a Formula 1-like sport (which is much more geared towards entertainment and brand marketing).

I would argue that 1) FischerRandom is even more impenetrable than top level chess and 2) the point of chess is that it is difficult - whereas the concept of driving a car as fast as possible is relatively straight-forward. #Chess is cool *because* it is NOT Formula 1 🙂.

Ich hatte ihn mal auf 1. … Sc6 gg e4 angesprochen. Fand er aber keine so gute Idee🤣. (Lt Stockfish ist 1. … Sc6 offenbar die viertbeste Verteidigung nach 1… e5, 1. … c5 und 1. … c6).
