Just had a chance to watch highlights of Sporting KC loss to Vancouver. It’s been a busy weekend for me & not able to write about the game as yet. Sporting’s players look like a team at the end of a long season who have given up. The problem is that this is just 8 games into the season. #sportingkc

I’m sure the club & fans read my writing & social media posts & think I’m a negative prick. That’s fine. However, I’m a realist about this. When it’s good, I’ll tell you so. When it’s bad, you’ll know. I won’t say something sucks and not explain why. MLS clubs aren’t used to this level of scrutiny.

There’s no reason for the average America soccer fan to go watch or support this team. Yes new players will arrive in the summer. But amidst a third straight losing season, why would players want to come to KC?
