at easter my cousin was telling me that theres a new canadian law that lets you apply for canadian citizenship if you had an ancestor who was a canadian citizen. not just a parent or grandparent. my great grandma was from canada. maybe I will apply and become canadian, so I can flee this country.

had a nice saturday, hung out with my mom (visiting) all day, hung out with my niece, hung out with my guys (who my mom knows) and she got to meet some of their kids, ate about 10lbs of korean bbq. Not bad.

I re-read all the novellas since they're so short recently and when I was done I immediately thought "I wish there were more of these stories" and I went to wikipedia and of course it says "GRRM is PLANNING more of these stories" which, lol.

I liked that new game of throne show. I like how the one guy is big and dumb and the child is wise and mischevious. It reminds me a bit of Looney Toons except in Looney Toons when they hit each other with weapons a guys brain doesn't fall out of his head.

Congrats to all of team USA hockey except the Tkachuks. What a game. Hellebuyck stood on his fuckin head. Any other goalie and Canada probably wins it. Just a sick game overall.

Enjoyed watching the wonderful gals of USA hockey win the gold medal. And I am mentally preparing to watch our men's team choke in a big moment tomorrow/this weekend.

at work HR sometimes schedules a "afternoon coffee/tea break" call where people zoom in and shoot the shit for like 20-30 minutes. I've never joined, but I think next time I will. I'm going to drink a beer and see what happens.
