We should never forget, that Mandelson was and is a senior Labour figure. He was a close confidant and friend to many in labour cabinet. From powerful positions they wanted him as ambassador. Starmer and lammy should resign.

BBC News - King will not meet Epstein survivors on US visit.
And King still not coming clean on whether late queen and royal family paid £10 million to cover Andrew's civil sexual assault lawsuit brought by Epstein victim- Victoria Giuffre and thus avoiding trial.

I would gauge that the ifs and buts are typical tactics of FO and UK Government when they want to make a climb down, but don't want to make it look that way.
No Andrew and family? Obviously the Royal family think he has done sommat wrong? Stop this tepid condemnation, come clean on whether late queen paid andrews civil law suit and send andrew to USA congress inquiry.

Very few people in UK take Starmer seriously. He and the cabinet lack credibility. Countries abroad know it. The Uk government is a domestic and international liability and damaging the country's international reputation.
Peer of the realm, Labour grandee, architect of modern Labour Party, friend of Starmer and his advisers, feted by British establishment and all round disgrace.

Corporations have a playbook for these crises. Their margins are protected, households ultimately pay for it.
Except, history shows that it's actually democracy itself that ends up paying for it.
It literally paved the way for fascism.
The same thing will happen in the coming months as price setting energy company costs cascade through the economy.
By moving straight to the fiscal or household implications of the energy price, centrists absolve capital itself from any accountability or reckoning. This is politically stupid.
Think tankers, politicians and advisers who were part of the UK coalition government of 2010-2015 were all part of a hellish and cruel austerity. Some even today hold positions of influence.
Fifa are a disgrace. They treat the beautiful game as a commodity. They are greedy wealth extractors and have no shame..

Acid test. How deep are King's sympathies for epstein victims? If shallow and token he will avoid meeting.

The UK government are hapless duffers and people are gonna suffer huge hardship. We are heading for a deeper Global Financial crisis. And government are just mildly reactiive. They have built no resilience

Springsteen: Well, this past winter federal troops brought death and terror to the streets of Minneapolis. They picked the wrong city. Your strength and your commitment told us that this is still America. And this reactionary nightmare and these invasions of American cities will not stand.
He wasn't naive. Tone and style of this fella suggests it was intentional and thought through - fuelled by his own hubris and arrogance.
Another massive mistake by starmer in making him a minister, and in parachuting him into safe seat in 1st place.

I dont think many people in UK, believe anything this fella says. Friend of Lord Mandelson Streeting is as irredeemably disliked as Starmer. www.theguardian.com/politics/202...
UK peerages and knighthoods aren't marks of merit — they're establishment cronyism. Those who hold them are validating establishment or complicit in defending it. The untitled person stands on far more honest ground.
Shocking! And a scandal. The wigan site is owned by the King. Now king gets a cleaned up site at our expense!
